Birthed in 2020, out of the pandemic - Metz Kelly Holdings (MKX) is one of the nation’s fastest growing real estate investment firms.  Formed by long-time business partners and friends, Blythe Metz and Jon Kelly, MKX is pioneering commercial real estate through the us of structured finance and a focus on acquiring high-upside multifamily, mixed-use, and adaptive reuse properties. MKX started as a commercial mortgage brokerage before adorning the cap of developers themselves - but carry the benefit of staying in-tuned to the commercial lending landscape and built-in capital-sourcing to cut costs. In the brief time since the shift towards acquisitions, MKX has grown their portfolio from 0 to 620 units under management and growing fast. MKX focuses on taking C class assets to A-B class through a mix of aggressive renovation dollars and a proprietary system that finds off-market assets in A+ growth markets. All signs point to the continuing metoric rise of MKX and anticipate over 2,000 units by the end of 2023.


Blythe Metz

Blythe has enjoyed a long career in the real estate industry as an investor and developer and has also served in various roles in Real Estate Investment Banking and Private Equity. Blythe founded his first company (also in Real Estate) in 2006 and subsequently three more companies since then, and is responsible for overseeing research, institutional capital raising, business development and deal negotiation. Blythe is also responsible for sourcing and establishing new transactions for the firm. His career has encompassed the structuring, financing, acquisition, disposition, leveraged buyout, valuation and due diligence of over $2.0 billion as well as the CEO for a multi-million dollar aviation production group.

Jon Kelly

Jon is a fourth generation real estate developer (his great-grandfather was an engineer tasked with the building of the Panama Canal) and is an accomplished operations and acquisitions executive with extensive experience in operations, finance, and marketing to support strategic business objectives. He has been successful in start-up, turnaround, and high-growth organizations. Jon’s primary responsibilities at Metz-Kelly include overseeing underwriting, leveraging team competencies to drive growth, sourcing new lending partners (both banks and private lenders), improving market positioning, and strengthen bottom-line financial performance for the MK portfolio.

Jon has been in a management role for over 12 years and has completed over $500M in real estate as well as corporate M&A transactions in technology and film.
